: As a Senior Cloud Solution Architect, you will acquire strong understanding of our customer's business, their strategic goals, solution road maps and the specific requirements of Network Function Virtualization and respective suitable cloud platforms. You will demonstrate the technical abilities of our team and will propose, drive and lead end to end solution that ensure the customer in achieving their business goals and targets. You are a solution expert with deep knowledge across Red-Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes, VMware and Public Cloud along with NFV/CNF technology stack along with third party integrated products/solutions. We need a passionate, hard-working, and creative Senior expert to help us in capturing available opportunities in telecommunications industry with focused approach on designing and end to end solutioning for use cases in the telecommunications/network service operator.. Dynamically engaging with Senior Leaders/Managers and Client is a prime responsibility of the Sr. Solutions Cloud Architect role that will give you experience in uplifting NEC capabilities along with strong project engagements. Responsibilities Innovation and Technology: Drive innovation across the cloud platform segment Participate in industry events and increase visibility of NEC via POCs/Demonstrations Envision creating reusable components for efficiency enhancement & new business opportunity creation Business: Drive the overall business expansion in cloud vertical with support from sr leadership team of division and pre-sales teams Own the overall technical estimation of RFP/proposal to manage technical risks & fetch new business Prepare and present proactive & attractive proposals to attract more business in cloud technology People/L&D: Lead skill enhancement of team's capabilities by identifying focussed development plans, inculcating R&D culture & practical hands-on experience to team Review architecture and deliverables of key engagements/projects Mandatory skills: Experience in telecommunications networking concepts, in specific SDN/NFV, virtualization and cloudification, edge computing. Strong experience in designing/building end to end solution with container technologies like Docker and Orchestration like Kubernetes, OpenShift, VMWare (Tanzu/TKG). Experience in E2E solutioning with one or more public cloud providers, like Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or IBM Cloud, and their integration with enterprise customers. Experience in Linux server systems architecture (processors/memory/storage etc.) with ability to understand and troubleshoot expected cloud solutions and designs. Must have worked in 5G, OSS, BSS, RAN, Core, Slicing, MANO, ONAP and Network Cloudification. Influence Technical experts and End users across globe as key solution provider and get confidence from Clients to adopt NEC Solutions. Experience in customer-facing positions as a prime Solution Architect along with set of leaders, preferably with a Telco cloud solution or a network solution firm. Expert in providing technical mentorship/guidance to customers/vendors to understand design/solution along with suggestion of optimised and business driven approaches. Able to identify the solution success criteria, drive its design/implementation from a business Value perspective. Understanding the future business direction from products/solutions/market/technology in the Cloud domain to enable NEC as key contributor. Technical bridge between core product engineering team and partners/customer's engineering team. Must have deep understanding of the telecommunication market/trend/future with required standards, technology and use cases. Preferred Skills: Experience working with future application deployment practices including but not limited to Docker/Containers, Kubernetes etc. Experience working with new virtualization technologies/platforms including but not limited to VMware/OpenShift/KVM etc. Experience on Private 5G/LTE, CBRS network solutions will be add on. Ability to architect Hybrid (Private & Public) Cloud solutions including Cloud/Virtualization services, solutions in enterprise customers. Exposure on any future telco technologies and roadmaps i.e 6G etc. Should have a sense of understanding overall ecosystem, how technology products and solutions solve business problems. Should have experience in driving end to end Solution with large scale requirements, network transformations, system upgradations leveraging the latest technology in market. Should have a strong time management and management skills for coordinating multiple ideas, initiatives, approached and implementations of solution with latest technology into very complex environments.
