The Senior Test Engineer plays an integral role in the development lifecycle, focusing on the planning, execution, and analysis of various testing methodologies to ensure product quality. This position involves close collaboration with the development team to design testing strategies, develop test plans, and identify areas for improvement in the product development process. The Senior Test Engineer ensures that all products meet the highest standards of reliability, functionality, and user experience before they reach the market. This role is responsible for creating and managing automation test framework. Job responsibilities:

• Write medium-high complexity test scripts independently and identify opportunities to automate functional tests.
• Integrate end to end tests with Jenkins based CI/CD pipelines and monitor and improve metrics around test coverage, pass rates.
• Within an Agile framework, collaborate with other team members to deliver compelling, high-quality solutions via iterative sprint commitments.
• Work closely with product and development teams to identify/communicate defects and monitor resolutions.
• Design, develop and execute automation scripts using selenium based TestNG and BDD automation.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills paired with the ability to develop creative and efficient solutions.
• Should be proficient in building Automation Frameworks from scratch.

Qualifications and prerequisites:

• 4-5 years of experience in Automation testing using TenstNG - selenium and Cucumber - BDD framework
• Should be skilled in Java.
• Good exposure to API testing
• Proficient in Database queries
• Well versed with using GIT, Jenkins based CI/CD processes.
• Experienced with manual testing concepts and processes.
• Learning appetite for new technologies, automation framework
