Job Description

Description UKG Noida is hiring a Senior Software QA who would be accountable for the quality of the product by developing and executing test strategies to ensure quality releases. The candidate must demonstrate good analytical abilities, attention to details and good verbal & written English communication skill.
Excellent debugging, automation and manual testing skills are must for this position.
Work closely with developers to design and deliver the key components of the product

• Involvement needed in every step of software development process like designing, development and testing
• Understanding and executing as per test strategies to ensure quality releases
• Ensure proper functionality and performance of a wide variety of applications and platforms
• Candidate is expected to have a proven track record as an individual contributor in an Agile team environment
• A demonstrated ability to deliver quality product releases on schedule using risk analysis and defect containment practices, test automation and continuous improvement initiatives are key to this position
• Proficient in testing technique like Boundary Value Analysis, Equivalence Class Partitioning, Decision Table Based Testing methods
• Responsible & accountable for the quality of the product
• Automate manual test cases and execute automation suite on periodic basis
• Able to write test cases in Cucumber using BDD approach.
• Able to perform API level testing (preferably using POSTMAN)
• Able to debug/analyze the test failures and fix the scripts

Qualifications 3-5 yrs of software/application testing experience

• Knowledge of test methodologies and test management tools Jira, TestRail
• Exposure to Behavior Driven Development and able to write test cases in Cucumber using BDD approach
• The ability to recognize risks and errors in an application.
• Experience in SaaS & Cloud based application testing
• Familiarity with source control systems (GIT bit bucket, CI/CD)
• Experience in Agile methodology
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
