About the Role

As a Senior Software Developer-Python, you will partner with our business and technology groups to develop Data Transformation Solutions. You will take ownership for building and managing innovative integration platforms along with providing advice and guidance to our partners. You will collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to understand business requirements and translating them into integration designs and solutions.

Responsibilities

Collaborating with product and development teams to understand product requirements and translate them into innovative software solutions

Ability to apply data blending techniques, hygiene checks, implement data quality precautions, use analytics techniques to prepare data for analysis

Implementing development processes, coding best practices, and code reviews, keeping up to date with new technology

Operating in an Agile environment to resolve technical issues and complete bug fixes

Collaborating with teams and stakeholders to seek feedback on priorities to help shape innovative solutions for complicated software challenges

Requirements

Demonstrate good experience as an Software Engineer and knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall

Have Proficiency in full stack development languages including but not limited to: Python (React or NodeJs) JavaScript, HTML, XML, SQL

Have the ability to write services and integrate with the frontend and database

proficiency with data manipulation language including optimization techniques and understanding of normalized/dimensional data modelling principles

Ability to design and work with complex data models with databases like Oracle/Postgres and exposure to NoSQL databases

Have great verbal and written communication skills and enjoy collaborating with teams to solve problems

Have experience of test-driven development and the ability to complete complex bug fixes
