We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Software Engineer. In this role, you will: Meets the expectation of successful testing of patching of the infrastructure by carrying out post patching tests and confirms stability of the infrastructure. Meets expectations of internal customers through resolution of incidents assigned, meeting their needs and demonstrating the added value of service provided To support and maintain full functionality of equipment and applications Meets quality targets as assigned by IT Operations Management for Change, Service Levels and Problem Resolution times Identify and improve efficiency and potential improvements of Networks environment Communicating effectively with key business users regarding requirements Participate in the testing/piloting of new services/hardware Ensure compliance and be able to demonstrate adherence to internal controls, Telecoms Group Standards and Information Security Secondary Standards. Manage Problem and Incident resolution and subsequent MI, liaising with third parties & other IT OPERATIONS service lines to resolve or escalate incidents/service requests. Providing excellent customer support. Ensure that Network documentation is regularly maintained and used when required. Ensuring that standard ITIL processes are followed correctly and appropriately, e.g. Problem Management, Incident Management, Release Management, Change Management and Configuration Management. Implement ITIL best practice where applicable. Requirements To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements: Up to 4 years\' experience or a more experienced contact centre network administrator. Knowledge of Genesys / Verint / LANe Fax Infrastructure in contact centre environment is a must. Knowledge of recording environment is desirable Should possess ability to learn the post patching activities and should be In position to carry out the tests independently Overall understanding of Network services and the supporting infrastructure to be able to prioritise work load Good Understanding of Network hardware and Software and general IT Support principles Have sufficient knowledge of IT Operations understanding policy, processes, procedures and systems deployed. In depth knowledge of best practice within a support environment. Practical experience in one or more of the following disciplines : Contact Center infrastructure, Recording infrastructure, Trade floor telecommunication infrastructure. Voice Network Technologies, IP telephony solutions, Voice over IP Solutions, voice network troubleshooting and problem resolution.
