The Senior Software Engineer, SAP BW Finance and Analytics should have experience delivering full lifecycle projects in SAP BW on HANA, HANA Sidecar and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) in area of Financial Accounting. The role requires strong knowledge of finance data and processes in S/4HANA including finance master data and building visualizations using SAC.

Key Responsibilities

This role will be responsible to work on the design and development of data warehousing and financial reporting solutions using SAP BW and SAP Analytics Cloud.

Part of the team that produces deliverables as specified by Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to support Finance requirements globally

Design and develop visualizations using SAC, reporting using Analysis for Office, BEX Queries and Open hubs.

Design and develop solutions using HANA sidecar, developing models and views, and integrating with SAC.

Support Month-end and Year-end financial close process and address issues in a timely manner.

Accountable for delivery of projects on time and on budget, adhering to high-quality development principles

Absorb new ideas and drive continuous improvement for operations and design of processes.

Build strong inter-personal relationships with peers, IT Business partners, Business, and other key stakeholders to help with the smooth implementation of new applications/capabilities and technologies.

Manage stakeholder communications for projects.

Develops self and others through training and project work assignments.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science or related field or equivalent professional experience.

At least 5 to 7 years of experience in areas of SAP BW on HANA, HANA Side car and SAC.

Strong in BW Data modeling and knowledge of ABAP to write transformation routines and custom extractors in BW on HANA environment.

Strong knowledge of finance data and processes in S/4HANA including Finance master data, General Ledger data, product costing data related extractors.

Hands-on experience in the design, develop and support of Queries/Workbooks in the Analysis for Office with extensive experience in the development of BEX Queries and Open hubs.

Experience in Native HANA Modeling using HANA Studio and scripting experience including ability to write complex stored procedures.

Experience in creating Calculation views, CDS views & Stored Procedures, Analytic Privileges, Input Parameters, Table function, Scalar Function.

Experience building HANA XS Native applications using XSJS, CDS view will be an advantage.

Hands-on experience in SAC Modeling, Stories creation, Analytic application, and Administration.

Experience in SAC Planning will be an advantage.

Experience in Unix/Oracle is a plus.

Experience in Pharmaceutical Industry is a plus.

Able to deal with ambiguity in problem definition and organizational relationships and experience working in a matrix organization.

Able to manage work across virtual teams.

Demonstrates openness to learning new skills and helping others to raise their \xe2\x80\x9ctechnology quotient.\xe2\x80\x9d

Strong oral and written presentation skills
