The Sr Salesforce Developer will work with the IT project teams to serve various departments at Progress Residential. The position will focus on development of new applications and enhancements, as well as support of existing systems. Role And Responsibilities Work with IT project managers, business analysts, and senior software developers to evaluate project requirements, create technical designs and implement changes within the Salesforce instance Manage applicable phases of systems implementations (e.g., configuration, customization, integration, data migration). Participates in software specification, gap analysis, and requirements analysis. Develops and refines of proofs-of-concept to confirm requirements. Testing, including defining/supporting user acceptance testing (UAT) and gathering feedback from pre-release testers. Ability to log, track, and manage issues, bugs, and enhancement/ features requests logged in JIRA. Participate in software release and post-release activities, including end-user training and support (e.g. developing demos). On-going systems administration, maintenance, and support functions. Ability to follow and work within project work plans and timelines to meet changing needs and requirements. Capture, mitigate and /or escalate issues in a timely fashion. Ensure consistency of specifications across sub-systems. Write and/or review deliverables, end-user guides, support documentation. Additional projects such as web development, as assigned. Job Requirement Qualifications And Technical Skillsets Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent engineering field 6 - 8 years of solid SFDC development experience Good experience in Customization / Configuration of Salesforce Sales/Service/Marketing Clouds Strong proficiency in writing Apex code and triggers, VisualForce pages & components, SOQL, SOSL, etc. Knowledge in developing and deploying solutions using Salesforce Lightning (Lightning Design System/Lightning App Builder/Lightning components) Clear insight of Salesforce platform best practices, coding and design guidelines and governor limits Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems using connectors, SOAP/REST API 1+ years of object-oriented programming experience: Java (Nice to have) or C# preferred Have experience using project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid, etc.) to deliver business value and drive significant change across an organization) Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) and ability to communicate effectively with business owners Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and ability to abstract functional requirements Strong balance of business and technical skills and ability to \'translate\' technical concepts clearly to non-technical decision-makers. Flexibility and positive attitude to achieve tight deadlines Rapidly adapt and respond to changes in environment and priorities Ability to work creatively, propose ideas and contribute to working groups
