Product & engineering work toward delivering a powerful yet flexible technology platform keeping the needs of the end customer in mind. Product managers are home to technical experts who work together to design and build our software and product roadmap, whereas our QA team is constantly aimed at enhancing the quality of our platform delivery through test methodologies for implementations, upgrades, and migrations.

Team and Role Overview

The R&D engineering team has multiple subdivisions responsible for the development and application enhancement as per the client\'s request and ensuring systems are up to date. The Controller View is a data-driven enterprise platform, that ingests native data from disparate sources without transformation to seamlessly and transparently deliver analytic dashboards and reporting. Cloud-hosted, it combines all user-required functions, for transparent, global, and evolving regulatory compliance, including workflow automation and controls, validation, calculation, drill-down, unique dynamic data-lineage, and traceability. Adenza Technology seeks a highly motivated and innovative Senior Software Engineer for our Regulatory Solution\'s Platform Engineering Team. As a member of the team, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of frameworks and tools for the Axiom Platform.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement new features to enhance Adenza\'s market-leading solutions
• Extend and maintain server-side business logic using modern, industry-standard technologies
• Engage with clients and product management to support and scale Adenza\'s existing solution portfolio
• Troubleshoot time-critical issues for multi-threaded business processes in an n-tiered architecture.
• Help promote clean design, development, and coding practices across the global engineering organization
• Contribute to the R&D, design, development, and testing of the next-generation product
• Collaborate with your team in an aggressive, agile environment focused on continuous delivery and learning

Skills And Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of experience in commercial software with significant and demonstrated experience leveraging Java for business domain logic
• Senior resource who is motivated to lead a small team and grow
• Excellent knowledge of Java
• Excellent object-oriented analysis, design, and development skills, including test-driven development (TDD)
• Experience with profiling and performance enhancement of distributed and multi-threaded systems
• Working knowledge of relational databases, including RDBMS setup and tuning experience (Oracle / Sybase)
• Familiarity with open-source frameworks ideally including Spring, Hibernate, Spring MVC, Spring JDBC
• Excellent communication skills
• A curious mindset and analytical skills, with a strong will and capability to learn
• A strong Can-Do attitude and good teamwork skills
• Ability to engage and collaborate closely with external and internal stakeholders
• A strong inner drive and motivation, thriving in a fast-paced environment
• Interest in contributing to the culture of working in an agile environment
