You can work remotely from anywhere. Working remotely hasn't stopped us from enjoying all the activities we love, such as Breakfast Lectures, Tea Talks, Virtual Fun Fridays, celebrating special occasions, attending conferences, workshops and other meet-ups. We partner with non-technical Founders to build, fund and scale revenue-focused tech companies. We love to explore the art of the possible and investigate new ways to use technology - and we're always on the lookout for talented people who want to do amazing things.

The Founder and Lightning team is made up of a group of over 100 interesting and talented people. We combine and share our knowledge, experience, passion and creativity to achieve incredible things for our founders and ourselves and love meeting people who can bring something new to the party.

The fun stuff you'll be doing:

• Focus on delivering code in Nodejs
• Input and lead technical discussions
• Identify areas of technical improvement within a project
• Provide support for other team members, including non-technical people (DM's, PM's)

Requirements

• Lots of previous commercial development experience, with expert knowledge of Nodejs and other required skills like ECMAScript 6+, Express or other HTTP framework, Unit testing, SQL databases
• Experience with TypeScript, API level testing, CircleCI or other CI tool, RabbitMQ or other message broker, Redis, AWS, GCP or other cloud solution and Security: Application and infrastructure is an added advantage.
• Can take the lead on an area of a project (e.g. BE), making some architectural decisions
• Ability to mentor and guide more junior developers
• Ability to explain complicated technical concepts to non-technical people
• Up to date with latest trends in their core technology, and expresses an interest in other areas of the tech stack
