A bachelor`s degree in electrical or software engineering
Embedded systems development using C and C++. Experience in scripting language like Python. Knowledge of Microprocessors, SoC\'s, and various hardware components.
Board bring-up: Bootloaders and Device tree configuration based on custom hardware schematics.
Device driver development. Kernel development and security management: Publishing the patch when necessary.
Yocto build system and developing custom recipes. Configuring the filesystem and boot process using ostree or similar tools.
Experience in using state-of-the-art Kernel and Application Debugging and Profiling tool. Experience in monitoring resource utilization such as Memory and CPU using state-of-the-art hardware and software tools.
Experience in probing and monitoring embedded system peripherals such as Ethernet, CAN, SPI state-of-the-art hardware and software tools.
Experience in the area of agile software development (Scrum), Team player, flexibility
Highly Desirable:
Knowledge of regulatory requirements for the development of medical device software
Programming skills in C++ for Linux multitasking operating systems in the area of embedded systems with a focus on Device-/Application-/GUI-Layer development
Experience in creating object-oriented design patterns (UML) for complex device control
Experience with the version control system Git
Familiar with the practice of continuous integration (CI)
3 Years of experience in a similar position recommended
