As part of Omnichannel Tech, we are a group of highly consumer obsessed and Tech enthusiasts who are responsible to for designing, building and

delivering best in class global solutions for our consumers in Americas region across Sales Channels by connecting the Digital World to the physical world.

Our solutions ensure a seamless Order Lifecycle Management as consumers place their orders through Digital touchpoints which then get fulfilled with our fulfillment locations and carriers.

As part of the Software Engineering team, you would join one of our workstreams that converts a consumer order to a sale and would deliver high quality software at speed while being a part of one or more Agile teams. You will be working developing and operating our software products, showcasing your creativity and using the latest technologies to bring ideas to life.

This role would involve building software components on the best-in-class Omnichannel ecosystem built on IBM Sterling Order Management

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

• You will translate, design and develop Business Requirements unto working solutions, keeping the highest standards defined by the Platform Engineering Team at adidas
• You will write high quality and fully scalable code/configuration which would meet the Non Functional Requirements defined by the Architecture Team
• You will collaborate with the Platform Engineering Team to be up to date on the standards and technologies introduced at adidas, and to leverage those in the day to day work in Consumer Order Management space, to the extent possible.

• You will understand the full E2E process along frontend and backend components.
• You will mentor junior team members and contribute to a high performing team continuously
• You will be a sponge, continuously learning the latest tech from experienced colleagues, conferences, and trainings \xe2\x80\x93 always growing and improving
• You will follow existing release process to enable developed features in live systems

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Strong hands-on Development and customization experience in IBM Sterling OMS
• Very strong knowledge of IBM Sterling Foundation framework and building blocks
• Sound knowledge of key Foundation modules like Distributed Order Management, Supply Collaboration, Global Inventory Visibility, Payment Processing, Reverse Logistics
• Exposure to CI-CD processes and sound knowledge of IBM Sterling Build & Deployment
• Exposure to IBM Sterling Store and Call Center customizations is a plus
• Knowledge of ECom and Omnichannel functions
• Experience working in agile teams
• Ability to think out of the box, drive creativity, and also foster the same culture within the team
• Experience of writing containerized microservices is a plus
• Exposure of working on collaboration tools like JIRA and Confluence
• Experience of mentoring a team of IBM Sterling and Java/Open Source Developers
• Motivation to never stop learning in the Omnichannel space
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Fluent in English.
• College or university degree with focus on IT or equivalent

THOESE ARE YOUR TECHNOLOGIES

• Programming Languages

• Java (8 or above). Experience with Spring boot is a plus
• XML, XSL/XSLT, XSD, SOAP WebServices and REST
• Products: IBM Sterling OMS (including Sterling Store and Sterling Call Centre)
• CI/CD: Bitbucket, Jenkins
• Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes
• Agile Dev Methodologies: Scrum/Kanban, Test Driven Development, Behaviour Driven Development
