This is a senior Software Development Engineer (SDE) role in the engineering team that delivers the lightweight agent on Linux/Unix. SDE's in the team own design and development of core features on the platform. Features will cross-cut most core OS subsystems such as file system, memory, process, and networking. Many features are also built in a way that they will have shared components across Windows, Linux and Mac. The team operates under the Agile development principles and ships frequently.

Qualifications

• 4+ years professional SW development experience
• Programming mastery in C++/C#
• Experience developing kernel modules for Linux/Unix
• Experience with auditd
• Experience with eBPF
• Experience debugging memory corruptions, process contentions and system performance
• Experience with developing code with high concurrency requirements needing strong use of multi-threading
• Experience developing security software products and systems
• Ability to work well with a group of senior engineers in a dynamic, fast paced environment
• Experience with CI/CD software Know-how of Linux Internals is a plus
• Experience with sandbox technology is a plus
• BS or MS in Computer Science or related engineering discipline
