The achievers and courageous challenge-crushers we seek, have the following characteristics and skills: Role: As a C and Linux Software Engineer, you will join our technical team and play a key role in the development of automated solutions for manufacturing, warehouse and distribution environments. Job Responsibilities: . Involve in design, development, testing, debugging, bugfixing & documentation activities. . Contribute to functional specifications and develop software . Implement project customizations and configurations per design . Conduct quality testing and integration of new or updated systems . Continually work to identify improvements Required experience Essential: . C and Linux, Low-level coding in C . C System-Level Development and Architecture experience . Good Unix scripting experience with tools e.g. bash, python Experience in working on Customer Support Projects Desirable: . Familiarity with Unix tools and technologies relating to debugging and performance analysis . Experience of real-time environments . General knowledge of database design and programming experience . Software Design and Software Integration skills . Networking, Communication Protocols Socket Programming, Inter process communication mechanisms . Understanding of software design principals and best practices . General knowledge of Web Services (SOAP, REST) . Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and TestRail . Experience with version control (git and or Mercurial) . Experience with Scrum and Waterfall software development life cycles
