Tape Management (Physical & Virtual Tape Libraries) a. Assess data size and back up requirement b. Provide drive capacity requirement keeping future growth needs in mind c. Identify and select apt product d. Implement the solution within the environment e. Design back up library requirement, f. Design the media, tape drives and configuring Physical and Virtual Tape Libraries for the backup applications, as per requirements. Backup Management a. Define back up / restore policy b. Identify apt tool / system c. Design and implement complex back up application (LAN free , SAN client backup etc.;) d. Design & implement upgradation / migration (between different back up system; different platforms) e. Design & implement Disaster Recovery Policy f. Create training contents & impart training for the operations and technology team g. Design and architect complex backup environments, LAN free backups, SAN client backups h. Handle multiple backup products, i. Rebuild Backup Server components. j. Mentor backup administrators, k. Handle Disaster Recovery Requirements a. Systems Administration (20) b.
