About the Role The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks and test suites to ensure the quality and reliability of Gojek products. You will be responsible for identifying and reporting defects, analyzing and troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve problems. You are also expected to mentor and provide technical guidance to junior members of the team. What You Will Do Participate in Requirement Analysis. Identify areas of focus during testing and QC and communicate these clearly to product owners and senior management Create and execute test cases for features with minimum guidance and maintain or add new cases in automation frameworks on either UI/API test level Work on QA lifecycle policy and processes and their tactical implementation Gather and prioritize user requirements, feed these requirements into overall Automation Framework requirements and test plans Train team members on tool use and test automation tools, practices, techniques, and best practices Communicate cross-functionally throughout the engineering organization Continuously monitor and boost test coverage across the product Design, develop and execute exploratory and automated tests for the area(s) of ownership Actively participate in the team meetings like planning, IPM, and retro Write clean, readable, maintainable automation code What You Will Need A strong individual contributor who is able to plan and execute his/her testing and automation efforts independently Able to suggest and implement improvements and updates in existing frameworksCreates test plans/cases and writes automated tests covering both UI/API test levels Ability to define automation strategy (Functional & API) for a product and implement improvements and updates in existing frameworks Design a highly scalable, reusable and extensible framework based on OOD principles and the Ability to suggest improvements to existing or new designs.
