About this role:

The Wells Fargo API Xchange Program is looking for a talented and motivated Scrum Master to expand our transformative API customer base.

As a Wells Fargo Gateway Scrum Master, you will be responsible for facilitating multiple product development and/or business oriented initiatives from beginning to end. You will develop and implement Agile project management practices, procedures and methods to drive these projects, while ensuring compliance with the appropriate policies and regulations at all times. You will also identify key performance indicators and make recommendations for continuous improvement in Agile Scrum and/or Kanban driven Agile project management practices.

In this role, you will:

• Facilitate the scrum process with cross functional impact that involve moderately complex projects, non projects, or maintenance work
• Guide the scrum teams to follow Agile and Scrum practices to actively promote prioritization, team readiness, and commitment for each Sprint
• Optimize scrum team velocity to identify improvement opportunities to achieve higher levels of team performance
• Deliver capabilities using agile practices while also following the Software Development Lifecycle, business process mapping, and various release processes as appropriate to ensure all risk, security, and development requirements are met
• Partner with discipline managers about governance policies and adherence to corporate standards
• Facilitate the Scrum Agile ceremonies for the teams
• Collaborate with product owners, program or project managers to communicate delivery of work product from the team and escalate key risks and issues impeding scrum team effectiveness
• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
• Interact with internal customers
• Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of Practicing Agile Scrum Master experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
• Scrum master certification
• Should be able to lead 2 or more scrum/kanban boards
• Proficiency with JIRA, JIRA Align, Confluence, reporting, metrics generation etc.

Job Expectations:

• Playing the role of a Scrum Master on one or more Scrum Development Teams
• Driving internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information
• Facilitating decision making and communicating trade-offs and risks cross-functionally and up to the program level
• Assisting PL&S with release planning, product roadmap, capacity planning, release milestones tracking and customer pilot programs
• Driving process improvements toward consistent delivery of working product
