We are seeking an experienced Senior Salesperson to join our team and drive our government business initiatives to new heights. Job Overview: As a Senior Salesperson for our government business division, you will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and closing sales opportunities within the government sector in India. Major verticals to work on are Smart mobility and Fintech, 3D City (GIS/GPS) vertical, HMIS, Agriculture digitisation etc. Your primary focus will be on understanding government needs, building relationships with key stakeholders, and delivering tailored solutions to meet those needs. You will play a pivotal role in expanding our presence in this critical market Qualifications: Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred). Proven track record of at least 6-7 years in B2G (Business-to-Government) sales, ideally within Smart Mobility/Smart City/HMIS/Agriculture/3D City, Digital twin of the city. Strong understanding of government procurement processes and regulations in India. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Ability to build and maintain relationships with government officials and decision makers.


Market Research: Conduct in-depth research on government organizations, their needs, challenges, and upcoming projects in India. Prospecting: Identify and target potential government clients at the central, state, and local levels. Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with government decision makers, influencers, and procurement officers. Solution Presentation: Present our company\'s products and services to government clients effectively, showcasing how they meet their specific needs and deliver value. Customized Proposals: Develop customized proposals and solutions tailored to the unique requirements of government clients. Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and pricing terms, ensuring a win-win outcome for both parties. Pipeline Management: Maintain a robust sales pipeline, accurately forecasting sales opportunities and tracking progress. Compliance: Stay current with government procurement regulations and ensure all sales activities comply with relevant laws and policies. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and customer support, to meet client expectations. Reporting: Provide regular reports on sales activities, progress, and achievements to senior management.
