About the Role:
We are seeking a highly reputed and well-connected Architect & Interior (A&I) Business Development professional in Kolkata to drive significant business growth within the premium product/service segment. The primary focus is establishing, nurturing, and leveraging strong relationships with leading architects and interior designers to ensure our company is the brand of choice (specified) for high-end projects.
Key Responsibilities
Network Management: Build, maintain, and expand a strong, credible network and goodwill with architects and interior design firms across Kolkata.
Business Generation (Specification): Proactively engage with A&I professionals to get our premium product/service specified in their upcoming projects, driving consistent and predictable sales revenue.
Stakeholder Engagement: Effectively manage all demands, requirements, technical inquiries, and regular follow-ups from the A&I community.
Market Positioning: Strategically position the company and its offerings as the premium benchmark within the Kolkata design and construction ecosystem.
Candidate Profile
Experience: Minimum 8+ years of proven, focused experience in sales, business development, or specification management, exclusively working with architects and interior designers.
Industry Background: Must have a verifiable track record in the premium product or high-end service segments (e.g., luxury building materials, high-end finishing products, architectural services).
Location & Credibility: Must be Kolkata-based with a deep, proven background, strong existing goodwill, and high credibility within the local A&I professional community.
Skills: Exceptional relationship-building, communication, presentation, and follow-up skills.
