Sr Revenue Accountant

In this role the successful candidate will:
- Perform revenue accounting and reporting activities on monthly basis.

- Prepare monthly revenue accounting journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations and revenue reports for month end close.

- Resolve revenue related issues and follow-up on outstanding items.

- Business partner to cross-functional teams including Sales, Sales Ops, Pricing, FP&A, Accounts Receivable, Tax, IT, Legal and SEC Reporting.

- Assist in the development of company finance policies and internal finance controls.

- Prepare auditor\'s PBC requests, respond to their queries and implement audit recommendations.

- Review and recommend improvements to current revenue recognition strategies.

- Prepare documentation of all revenue related activities as per company procedures.

- Assist and conduct job training to the revenue team when required.

- Develop standardized dashboard reports across all business divisions.

- Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis

To be successful in this role, the candidate will need to have:

- 5-7 years of hands-on revenue recognition experience

- Bachelors in Finance/Business, MBA Finance, Cost Accountant/ CA Inter preferred High level of initiative and works well in a cross functional team environment.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and flexible to change. Results-oriented, strong organizational skills, and time management skills with the ability to multi-task.

- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal.

- Strong attention to detail with an ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and flexible to change.

- Ability to analyse and question data for reasonableness, proper accounting, and consistency.

- Seek to continuously improve current processes and procedures.

- Strong Excel modelling required.

- ERP system experience (Oracle preferred)
