Technical skills

• Utilise the emergency medicine approach to a physiologically unstable but undiagnosed patient
• Uses effective history taking and examination techniques to recognise critical symptoms & symptom pattern
• Demonstrate systematic assessment of undifferentiated presentations – chest pain, shortness of breath, abdominal pain,altered level of consciousness
• Identifies & orders appropriate investigations independently
• Refers appropriate cases to higher centre after primary care within ‘golden hour’ period

Interpersonal Skills

• Patients & Attendants Counseling
• Effective Co-ordination with team during the procedure
• Contribute through their research, to the diversity and excellence of the academic community
• Liasoning within & outside departments (ICU's / Pre Op & Post Op)
