Job Title Senior Research Analyst - Automotive (SCT) Job type Full time Location Bangalore/Gurgaon, India S&P Global Mobility is looking for a full-time Senior Research Analyst for its Automotive Supply Chain & Technology (SCT) team. The core responsibility of this role is to write in-depth reports and build trackers on different topics for AutoTechInsight's Materials & Lightweighting and Chassis vehicle domains. Along with the domain subject matter experts and regional analysts, you will be planning and writing reports, client presentations, webinars, besides data research and interpretation. The position offers exciting work environment where you will be collaborating with multiple teams, global analysts within and outside automotive teams and build external network as well. Key roles and responsibilities: Research and author in-depth reports, Excel trackers and dashboards in automotive Materials & Lightweighting and Chassis Solutions domains. Collaborate with LV Forecasting, Component Forecasting, and Commodity Insights colleagues to generate data-driven reports and insights. Occasionally write whitepapers, client presentations, briefings and insight pieces regarding technology trends, black swan events, etc. Contribute to Motor Show report compilations and publishing. Conduct interviews for intelligence gathering Coordinate with sales colleagues or directly with clients to promote reports and address customer queries Attend external webinars and investor calls Organize and deliver webinars as a thought leader Mentor and guide new colleagues in the team Skills, experience and education: Experience in data-driven journalism create stories using large datasets and graphs At least five years of relevant automotive industry knowledge, ideally B2B experience - either at an automotive data provider, automotive consultancy or in automotive journalism. Excellent English writing and presentation skills, including interviewing strong communication skills. Proven teamwork skills, ability to work independently and manage strong network with senior executives internally and externally. Strong time management skills, ability to deliver projects within deadlines, prioritize assignments and manage multiple projects. Ability to deliver desired results with minimum supervision. Education: Graduation level and above. Automotive Engineering background is highly desirable MBA will be a plus.
