It is one of North America\'s leading disaster recovery contractors, deploying from its disaster response facilities in Florida, California, Texas, Louisiana, Minnesota, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands.

Job Summary:

The Senior Recruiter will lead recruiting efforts for a variety of positions within a dynamic company which sometimes needs to recruit and onboard many candidates in a very short period of time. The Senior Recruiter must be willing to travel and work outside of normal business hours in order to staff projects which can start unpredictably and should be familiar with all relevant laws and regulations that apply to recruiting, hiring, and staffing.

Reports to: Global Executive Recruiter

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Duties/Responsibilities:

- Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.

- Organizational operational needs will require dependence on seasonal workers. This will result in surges to recruiting needs and will require familiarity with the field roles.

- Regular site visits to field locations to assess recruiting needs and performance of operations personnel.

- Assists with job posting and advertisement processes.

- Screens applications and selects qualified candidates.

- Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.

- Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.

- Arranges meeting locations, travel, and/or accommodations for applicants and company managers when necessary.

- Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.

- Builds database of possible workers/pipeline.

- Heavily involved with university recruiting with select schools globally.

- Develops a Skills Tests/standardizes Equipment Operator hires.

- Ensures compliance with applicable Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and related federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.

- Works with HR to meet OFCCP & FMCSA Compliance requirements.

- Attends and participates in college job fairs and recruiting sessions.

- Other duties as assigned.

Essential Qualifications:

- Capable of conducting original research and devising an action plan for each project.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.

- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

- Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.

- Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.

Desired Qualifications:

- +5 years of recruiting experience

- Ability to Travel

- Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles,

Minimum Education and Experience:

- Bachelor\'s degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience, required.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

- Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
