Role and Responsibility Brief

• Handling project technical requirements, calls and QAs.
• In depth knowledge of API testing concepts and API engineering concepts.
• Relevant experience in API testing.
• Conduct testing/analysis reviews and technical support to team
• Sound knowledge in Software development lifecycle and Software testing lifecycle.
• Be part of a cross functional Scrum team that develops and supports the product.
• Run manual tests and build automation test suits for regression and new features. Testing Microservices and API components, checking data in databases, automating deployment.
• Be involved in new features development, provide inputs to POs and Developers on the correct behaviour of the system.
• Install and Configure testing systems with latest deliveries for testing.
• Supporting customers and the support groups.
• Should be able to own individual features/Enhancements regarding API testing
• Should be able to understand current framework used for testing and suggest enhancement or come up with new framework for testing as per customer needs

Must Have Skill

• Strong Knowledge and expertise of in manual and automation testing
• Knowledge of Software defined storage
• Understanding of current automation scripts (Python)
• Good understanding and knowledge in API Testing
• Understanding of Microservices and HTTP protocols and methods.
• Knowledge of one version control tool, preferably Git
• Good knowledge on at least one programming language (Go preferred)
• Expertise in manual testing and API testing.
• Good understanding of writing test cases, test plan and test strategy document.
• Good understanding of at-least one programming language (Java preferred)
• Understanding of Agile Development Process, CI/CD pipeline and knowledge of cloud services providers
• Good to have an experience in software defined storage domain.
• Good communication, analytical skills and be proactive, ability to independently handle tasks and self-learner etc.

Nice to Have Skill

• Knowledge on CI CD pipelines and build tools
• Experience around Rest Assured using GO.
• Docker, Kubernetes, Deployment processes.
