Our Client has operated in Europe since 1913 and is the largest of IB&M's international businesses. IB&M operates in Europe via a London branch, a UK subsidiary and a Malta licensed bank.

The London branch provides Global Markets (GM) services to EU clients via the UK subsidiary which currently has passporting rights into the EU. The strategy in Europe remains focused upon four global industry verticals being Financial Institutions, Natural Resources, Infrastructure and Industrials & Logistics.

Under a 'hard Brexit', bank would lose the ability to deal in GM products with EU domiciled clients and access to a deep and highly liquid capital market. EU and UK regulators are taking a hard line and have requested contingency plans.
IB&M has set up a Brexit program that aims to establish a subsidiary and office in Amsterdam to meet the requirements of the UK leaving the EU. The Program has created eight streams of work, including Technology Readiness.
There are two key components of technology: 1) local infrastructure and network connectivity; 2) business systems. The first component is strongly linked to the Property Readiness stream and hence is managed in such a way. This stream focuses on business systems readiness.

Responsibilities

Seeking an experienced senior manual tester with strong End to End Testing experience. Experience managing senior level business and technology leaders essential. This is a Bangalore based Manual Testing role

• You will work with business users and developers to understand the requirements and develop the appropriate test approach to verify the outcome by execution of various test types & test phases.
• Test documentation is required to be written, such as (but not limited to) test plan, test cases, test completion reports.
• Maintain and enhance existing test SQL libraries and automated process, and regression test suite using good test practices
• Defect Management across all areas of the lifecycle, including regular triage meetings.

Skills

Must have

• 8+ years' experience as Test Analyst
• Solid understanding of various test phases, type of testing to be undertaken & be to perform them as an individual contributor.
• Hands on experience in writing test plan, test cases, test closure reports / sign-off reports
• Solid SQL skills. Basic understanding of Unix
• Strong hands on experience in capital markets domain. Experience of working on regulatory projects (e.g. FRTB, DTCC, MiFid etc.
• Understanding & experience with trade booking / order management systems like Murex, Wall Street & Calypso
• Knowledge of different asset classes within capital markets and financial products
• Experience working with Agile methodology. Good experience of working with Agile teams and participating in various scrum ceremonies. Strong experience in user story estimation
• Very good communication skills - spoken & written
• Candidate should be highly proactive & motivated to deliver a high quality deliverable
• Knowledge of financial instruments, equities, fixed income & derivatives
• Understanding & experience with trade booking / order management systems like Murex, Wall Street, Calypso, any other systems
• Sound understanding of data types
• Experience working with JIRA

Nice to have

• ISTQB or equivalent certification
• Knowledge / understanding of Data Warehousing, SQL, Real Time integration, JSON, XML, Kafka, MQ
