QA Automation Engineer / Senior QA Automation Engineer
:
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Test Automation Engineer with Cypress skills to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will have at the least of 3 years of hands-on experience working with the Cypress, maintaining existing automated scripts, and ensuring the quality and stability of web applications through automation. The role also requires expertise in functional testing of web applications, content testing, testing for responsive designs across multiple regions, and running automated regression suites on multiple browsers and devices after every deployment.
The candidate should have a solid understanding of defect tracking (Jira), and regular QA processes, along with the ability to communicate effectively during scrum calls. Recommended to have strong knowledge on performance testing (JMeter),
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, enhance, and maintain Cypress automation scripts for functional and content testing of web applications using existing framework
• Ensure the test automation framework is up-to-date for each new deployment or build, with necessary updates made to the existing scripts.
• Conduct testing on responsive web designs to ensure the application works seamlessly across multiple screen sizes and devices (desktop, tablet, mobile) for different regions.
• Execute and analyze test results, actively troubleshooting issues and reporting findings to the development team.
• Leverage GenAI tools to optimize testing workflows, such as test case creation, regression test script generation, and even AI-driven test result analysis for quicker feedback loops
• Track and manage defects in Jira, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication with the development team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Dev, Product, Scrum Masters) to communicate testing progress, results, and blockers.
• Participate in daily scrum meetings to update team members on test status, current issues, and progress.
• Provide support for performance testing using JMeter and collaborate in identifying performance bottlenecks.
• Actively participate in regular QA processes, including test planning, test case reviews, and release planning.

Preferred to have:

• Experience with continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using Bitbucket, GitActions etc.
• Familiarity with other automation frameworks or tools like Selenium, Cucumber or Appium for mobile testing.
• Knowledge of cloud-based testing solutions (e.g., BrowserStack, LamdaTest).
• Exposure to AI-driven test case generation or AI-assisted testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with AI-based tools that assist in performance testing or bug prediction.
• Familiarity with performance tuning and analysis in JMeter.
