We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of an Associate Director, Delivery Management
In this role, you will:

  • lead the development and ongoing management activities for multiple teams within a fast paced Technical Platform within the Engineering Value Stream (VS), ensuring delivery of accurate data across Technology Project Management being accountable for successful delivery of Technology projects and ensuring benefits realisation. Project outputs may form part of a technology-based change programme, delivery of a technology-only Programme, or may be standalone.
  • Having experience on building, deploying and supporting enterprise application. Having knowledge of Banking domain. Having understanding of infrastructure and network , cloud networking. Knowledge of programming language like Java, Java Script etc. Should be able to handle individual task with minimum supervision.
  • Having experience of 10+ years of experience. Managing the approach, building stakeholder buy-in around plans, commitments and changes. Create and track tasks to meet global strategies, driving improvements through backlog management. Establishing strong relationships with the local, central and 3rd party teams
  • Working with VS leads to
  • facilitate the forecasting & actuals for projects, ensuring department strategy.
  • align with Global Business strategies,
  • address the variations between actuals and forecast.
  • identify resource requirement needs
  • interlocking and securing other IT team resources
  • provide management to maintain a focus on how the project aligns to wider programme objectives
  • Help with the development and running of the programme management office or project management practice
  • Hold regular meetings with engineering leads to ensure that they are on track to meet original transition / conversion plans/forecasts and alignment to funding areas.
  • Direct cost Financial and Software / Hardware budget management - Coordinate approval of invoices. Ensure resource profile meets demand from value streams, prioritising demand across platform (e.g. re-assign resources where feasible instead of recruitment)
  • Ensure the VS workforce aligns to Direct Cost budget, ensuring appropriate charges budget in place for all resources. Engagement of Audit, Risk & Control. Ensuring adherence to standard controls and drives teams to achieve compliance and framework, capability management, security controls
  • Be accountable for the end to end delivery of the solutions within scope, budget and timeline
  • Support activities as required for portfolio management by the Transformation/PMO/Management Services function
  • Manage third party vendors in supplying services to the overall delivery
Qualifications - Internal
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills both written and Verbal. Strong/Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel is a must. Strong portfolio management skills
  • Sound analytical skills with an ability to understand complex technical and business issues An understanding of the business environment and imperatives, particularly the provision of excellent customer service
  • A comprehensive understanding of Cloud FinOps and Cloudability Excellent communication skills to build and maintain effective working relationships with peer groups in all Business areas
  • Sound budgetary skills In-depth understanding of systems JIRA, GPDM, Cognos, TPS, Discover & Confluence Flexible approach to working hours and responsibilities Familiar with risk-based decision-making and escalations
  • Confident in communicating effectively with internal stakeholders and senior managers Excellent Analytical and problem solving skills Ability to manage and balance competing agendas Ability to translate technical jargon to fit various audiences
  • Eagerness to learn new things Familiarity with AGILE methodology and DevOps and ITIL framework
  • Sound budgetary skills In-depth understanding of systems JIRA, GPDM, Cognos, TPS, Discover & Confluence Flexible approach to working hours and responsibilities Familiar with risk-based decision-making and escalations
  • An additional asset would be business knowledge of appointment booking, remote signing, and employee performance.
