Position

As a Senior Project Manager and Manager PMO, you will support the Head of NNQ GBS and the NNQ GBS management team in executing management activities. This includes all management processes as well as supporting the Unit Head in running cross organizational projects, preparing decision materials (internal and external presentations; follow up on action points), managing service performance, executing organizational changes, and ensuring and driving compliance. You are entrusted to fulfil the following responsibilities:

  • Drive cross-organizational initiatives such as Strategic initiatives (Organizational development, training offerings, compliance initiatives, changing culture, Strategic Goals) together with the HRBP, Procurement and other support functions ensure solid anchoring and implementation of NNQ GBS management decisions, policies and guidelines.
  • Drive process to achieve key strategic decisions, e.g., in relation to Organisational Review, changes, insourcing, outsourcing, and offshoring etc.
  • As a Member of NNQ GBS Management Team, extend support to achieve the groups collective objective including acting as substitute manager of NNQ GBS departments, when required
  • Track and monitor Unit performance on internal KPIs as PMO support, e.g., service performance, budgets, etc and consolidate performance indicators for reviews at CVP/VP/Director level.
  • Assist in Communication and reporting effort for the Unit i.e., Prepare content and presentations for various senior management governance boards with relevance for NNQ GBS to close action points.
  • Project Management of NNQ GBS initiated projects i.e. Participate in driving cross departmental efficiency and innovation initiatives
Qualifications and Personality Traits required
  • Bachelors/Master Degree MBA/PMP preferred.
  • 10+ years professional experience and 5+ years of Project Manager / Scrum Master / PMO.
  • High degree of flexibility and service mindset and ability to work with Team.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to analyse, prepare and present scenarios to drive decision making in highly complex tasks in a structured manner.
  • High level of Integrity and ability to keep confidentiality.
  • Cross cultural awareness and understanding.

NN Quality GBS is anchored under Quality Systems department in Novo Nordisk Quality within the EVP area of PSQIT. Novo Nordisk Quality works across our value chain, partnering with our business to ensure highest quality from laboratory to patient. In GBS we are a team of more than 100+ Quality specialists involved in supporting multiple CVP areas within Novo Nordisk Quality while working with the broader organization i.e. Product Supply and IT.
