You will be working as Senior Project Engineer, reporting to Planning and Fulfillment Manager for Electrification Business Area, Smart Power Division based in Bangalore. You will be responsible to complete assignments on multiple projects of moderate or portions of major projects, cost-effectively and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.Your responsibilities Coordinate engineering discipline across several projects. Provide technical support for testing, installation, and commissioning activities. Assist in preparing proposal/presentation of engineering projects/programs (provision of bills of materials, estimated engineering hours, etc). Support Contract Managers in issuing claims (new/change in scope of work, cost impact, time impact, risk quantifications etc.). Provide cost effective quality solutions as per customer requirement and delivers within budget and contract. Create work plans and cost estimates in one's area of responsibility. Review and approve scope, budget and schedule for assignments and ensures quality deliverables on time and within targeted cost. Improve effectiveness of work plan in collaboration with other functions. Interact with customers, officials, contractors, and others. Attend project meetings and presents specific aspects of engineering assignments. Collaborate with the Supply Chain function to ensure that technical requirements for equipment or services are communicated and agreed to with potential suppliers. Your background Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering. Minimum 5-10 years of experience in project management. Knowledge of UPS, batteries, Data Centre products line Fluent spoken and written English.
