Position Overview:

Program Management Team at Boeing India Defense Private Limited (BIDPL) is currently looking for Senior Program Management Specialist to join their team in New Delhi, India to support Program Manager for the India Apache program - being steered by BIDPL for the Indian Defense Forces.

A successful candidate would be part of the Program Management team under BIDPL and shall be experienced in Program Management with proficiency in Microsoft Project Professional, project planning & scheduling tools and would be working directly with the Senior Manager Rotorcraft Programs.

Position Responsibilities:

The responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

Leads the Program Management team with cross function teams in scope, cost, schedule, technical and risk for program management.

Working with campaign and program teams to develop planning artefacts including WBS, OBS, RAM, High level flow, Master Summary Schedule, Master Assumptions list etc.

Create and maintain integrated schedules to meet the program requirements.

Undertake Schedule risk analysis and apply schedule risk reserve.

Leads, directs, facilitates and ensures integration of project/program plans and schedules, horizontally and vertically, across company functional, product groups, suppliers and partners.

Oversight responsibility (performance management & reporting) for the program in support of organizational the goals and objectives.

Identifies key stakeholder program specific objectives and requirements.

Ensures assigned individuals are executing the identified and assigned tasks and providing appropriate tracking and reporting per plan.

Responds to changes to SOW, assesses the impact and negotiates proposed changes to determine modifications to the deliverables, resources, costs and schedules through Change Management process.

Leads project execution to complete the mutually agreed work statement.

Provides in-depth analysis of project culminating with lessons learned and historical reports for incorporation into future project plans.

Cross-functional communication between external customers, internal Boeing program personnel in India and the United States.

Produce metrics for schedules and change activities across the lifecycle of a program.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s or Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Engineering

Experience with program management / project management.

12 or more years\' related work experience in Aerospace / Aviation sector

Demonstrates knowledge of Program Management Best Practices

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Master\xe2\x80\x99s in Business Management

Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

Experience managing Agile Methodologies

Experience in applying Earned Value Management (EVM) methodology and analysis

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 13 or more years\' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+12 years\' related work experience.
