Job Description


Receive incoming support tickets from clients, and field staff and provide support by advising/directing people. Participate in daily stand-up meetings to assess the current status and plan the days activities. Responsible for defect reporting, coordinating with the development team, defect tracking, bug closure, etc. Independently estimate, prioritize, and execute manual test cases. Good understanding of systems and domains to be able to do a first-level analysis of any support issue. Capability to analyze, update and release small change requests that are required by the customer, field. Understanding of versioning, version control, and patch releases. Communication with diverse field personnel to gather information on support requests. A high degree of commitment towards work that will help ensure timely resolution of support tickets used. What were looking for: 4 to 8 years of related professional experience in product support and Quality Assurance. Bachelors degree or higher from an accredited university. Prioritize and manage several open issues at one time and ensure all issues are properly logged/ documented and escalated internally. Proven technical skills in SQL Server and APIs. Ability to write meaningful test cases, execute test cases, and record results. Experience in an Agile software development environment is preferred. Require strong data-gathering and analytical skills along with software installation and troubleshooting skills. Require problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to identify and solve issues quickly, and good communication skills to be able to speak to customers, and field personnel and explain the issues. Domain exposure to education or related large systems as well as experience in development/testing roles would be a plus. Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, be a team player, and manage change effectively Ability to work with multiple teams to get issues sorted out Heres whats on the table: We follow 5 days working from the office Monday to Friday 12 Casual Leaves, 12 Sick Leaves & 15 Vacation/Privileged Leaves Gratuity is a gratuitous payment due to an employee after 5 years continuous years of service PF contribution is paid on the actual basic 12% Group Medical Insurance (family floater covering 8 dependents) & Personal Accident Policy of 10L each per annum.
