Role Description

Deutsche Bank is renewing its focus on Customer Experience by expanding its Corporate Bank product design team. Corporate Bank is a technology-centric business, with an increasing client appetite for real-time processing, integrated systems and access to supporting data.

Corporate Bank covers a broad portfolio of Cash Management, Securities Services, Trade Finance and Trust & Agency Services, supported through \xe2\x80\x98horizontally\xe2\x80\x99 aligned teams such as Client Connectivity, Infrastructure, Architecture, Production, Surveillance & Regulatory, and Risk & Control.

We are looking for a Lead product designer to join one of these horizontally aligned teams to support Corporate Bank\xe2\x80\x99s portfolio by bringing a laser focus on customer-centricity.

Your key responsibilities

• Lead the UI development through the discovery, design, development and delivery processes while identifying continuous improvement opportunities
• Use qualitative and quantitative research methods to support your decision making
• Apply best development practises to write well designed, maintainable, testable, scalable, and secure code
• Test and verify features work correctly
• Manage your own time and task list efficiently
• Architect and build screens, widgets, and other UI elements in an extensible way that is tuneable by designers
• Use tools such as VS Code, Git, JIRA, Jenkins, Storybook
• Transform well-planned wireframes and designs into functional working software
• Ensuring all outputs adhere to relevant policies and standards
• Mentor junior UI developers while collaborating closely with your Squad and Tribe
• Constantly push for a user-centred approach while delivering to business requirements
• Be conscious of and design to brand guidelines

Your skills and experience

• 5+ proven experience as Front End Developer ( ReactJS )
• Experience developing and maintaining ReactJS and Redux based Single Page Web Applications
• In-depth knowledge of Javascript (ES6/7/8), HTML5 and CSS
• Experience with RESTful APIs
• Experience with Unit Testing and End-To-End testing using Jest, Mocha, Chai, Protractor, Playwright framework
• Proven ability to deliver software products from concepts to submission
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle
• Strong programming skills in Node or Java
• Good communicator with the ability to work in team environment
• Exposure to Figma, MUI is plus
• Experience in JIRA and Confluence
