The purpose of this role is to help and support the Director, Enterprise Architecture -Standard and Governance office, succeed in their role. The Enterprise Architecture Standard and Roadmap Manager role will perform the planning, facilitation, assessments required to manage and guide GSK Enterprise Architecture standard and roadmaps. With a passion for delivering enterprise technology, you will own the lifecycle of EA roadmaps and standards, which are developed through collaboration, are based on data driven measurements and align with our technology and business objectives, You are a strategic problem solver and technologist who is instrumental in transforming how IT services roadmaps, standardization and reuse are leveraged to support company growth. This role requires high influencing and communication skills, building strong relationship with product owners, solution architect and key technology stakeholders, and overall understanding of GSK environment and cross impacts between Global Tech groups Key Responsibilities: Manage GSK\'s Enterprise Architecture Standardization and Roadmap Process Technology Lifecycle Management - Accountable for maintaining and publishing technology inventory and standards. Responsible for the management and publishing of the Technology Lifecycles Coordinates and Facilitates the Technology Evaluation process including the generation of Technology Reference Architectures. Develops technology upgrade and new technology roadmaps that will influence portfolio investment. Ensure each Standards and Roadmap has the appropriate targets and they are validated against business objectives for that area Provide the transparency and visibility of progress of standard and roadmaps based on the objectives Coordinating and ensure ongoing standard and innovation working group sessions take place for each roadmap to add, change or remove initiatives. Communicate the standards, roadmap, policies, guidelines, processes, architecture direction and decisions to architecture community. Work closely with the EA PMO, EA domain Architects and assist with the prioritization of initiatives and determine the placement in the roadmap Lead and direct to create alignment within the IT community, close the gaps in standards development and compliance, and encourage cross-agency collaboration and integration. Facilitate assessments that can be requested on any architecture discipline, Information Systems, Information Technology, Security, Data, and Solution. Understand and advocate EA principles and be prepared to \'sell\' the EA process, its outcome, and ongoing results Accountable for Operational Deliverables, Architecture Assessment Approach and The Enterprise Architecture Standardization and Roadmap Process This role will report directly to the chief architect, will work closely with BU\'s Tech, GP&T and TSR Sr Managers to understand business, application, technical and security changes that may affect the roadmap Primary liaison and coordinate with other enterprise and solution architects, between the EA Team, GP&T, TSR, and BU\'s Tech Product Owners Why you Basic Qualifications: We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals: 16+ years of total experience Minimum of five years of hands-on design and implementation experience in IT, with knowledge in a Cloud services, infrastructure, data, application, security and end user technologies, etc. Strong understanding of Public Cloud, network, platform and data center architecture, as well as application development methodologies. Experience in successful setting up EA standard office Management and/or process/service improvement delivery Understanding of SOA, object-oriented analysis and design, or client/server systems Excellent interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork, facilitation and negotiation Strong leadership, Excellent analytical and technical skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent planning and organizational skills Ability to understand the long-term (\'big picture\') and short-term perspectives of situations Ability to translate business needs into solution architecture requirements Ability to estimate the financial impact of individual solution architecture alternatives Ability to define multiple solution options to business problems Ability to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies Knowledge of all aspects of enterprise architecture Basic knowledge of business process re-engineering principles and processes Basic knowledge of information principles and policies Ability to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies Project Coordination Experience Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments Project solution architecture experience At GSK we value diversity (Gender, LGBTQ +, PwD etc.) and treat all candidates equally.
