What you\'ll do .Provide remote infrastructure support for our Windows Server environments located across globally distributed data centers. .Troubleshoots and maintains server-based applications running on the network including SQL Server 2012, 2016 and 2019 and Microsoft IIS and Active Directory Services 2008 and 2012 . .Involved in regular patch deployment and system maintenance to ensure the health of platforms/servers as guided by Senior Team member. .Monitoring health for systems & applications using tools like Zabbix, Nagios, SolarWinds etc . .Monitoring servers for cases of abuse (spam, malicious processes, phishing/fraudulent sites, Splunk) and dealing with abusers as appropriate. .Manage incidents and escalations as per policies/procedures to meet incident management and uptime SLAs. .Liaise with senior teams (L2) for RCA\'s, permanent resolutions on issues using tickets and via chat conference rooms. .Identify repetitive tasks and automate using Windows PowerShell ,scripting .Contribute to operations handbook. .Investigate and assess alerts for hardware and schedule replacement or tests. . PowerShell scripting is a must. Who you are .Troubleshooting skills in Windows server 2003/2008/2012 .Experience in managing database servers MSSQL 2005 and 2008 .Experience in Microsoft IIS and Microsoft SharePoint 2003 and 2010 .Active Directory experience .Group Policy experience .Experience with WSUS servers .Experience in WDS .Knowledge in Power Shell scripting .Comfortable with common networking concepts like subnet masks, basic IP routing, DHCP, etc. .Experience of server hardware management like Dell servers .Windows Server Administration knowledge in File permission, Forests -multiple domain management etc .Good understanding of networking and TCP/IP protocols such as HTTP, SMTP, FTP, RDP and DNS .Basic understanding of RAID / DAS / SAN / NAS .Good understanding of hosting services .Comfortable using network tools such as nslookup,dig, ping, tracert .Basics of Clustering, NFS/NetApps, Load Balancing.Eagerness to learn and improve, both yourself and your surroundings .Ability to resolve issues quickly .Should possess strong analytical and troubleshooting skills .Strong communication skills (written & verbal) .India Education : Diploma / BE / BCA / MCA / MSc in Comp / BTech/ Mtech (MCP/MCSA/MCSE/MCSD certified will be a Plus) Why you\'ll love us.
