NVIDIA is looking for a Senior Network Engineer to develop a cloud network infrastructure. The goal is to craft a reliable, scalable and efficient network to support NVIDIA software development workflows and tools, including CI/CD pipelines, compute resource management flow and developer productivity tools. The network is serving the needs across the whole software stack for NVIDIA from Graphics Drivers to Autonomous Vehicles to Deep Learning frameworks. To achieve this goal, we are looking for an engineer who has a deep understanding of L3 underlay and overlay networks, outstanding design skills and a track record in building and delivering large-scale networks. What You Will Be Doing: Contribute to the overall architecture and design of our cloud network infrastructure including intra-DC, inter-DC, Corp IT, and Internet connectivity. Implement, manage and troubleshoot entire network stacks. Contribute to the automation of network infrastructure end-to-end including provisioning, management and monitoring. What We Need To See: Expert knowledge in designing, building, deploying, and operating/maintaining large scale IP Networking Technologies and protocols such as: MP-BGP, OSPF, ISIS, VRF, VxLAN, EVPN, QoS, GRE, IPSEC, DNS, MACsec. Hands-on experience around Peering and Datacenter interconnect technologies: PNI, Transit, Exchange, Passive DWDM, Wave circuits. Ability to write and understand Python/Shell scripts and programs for automation, tools, frameworks, dashboards, alarms. Understanding of network virtualization such as: VRFs, VXLAN Familiarity with Arista, Cumulus OS, Fortinet OS, Juniper, and Cisco. Expert in the field of networking, especially in underlay network. Strong track record of implementing network services in a variety of distributed computing environments. Hands-on experience with high performance network and network optimization in highly-available, large-scale, multisite, international environments Strong background with building tooling and automation for provisioning, monitoring, and managing the network infrastructure. Hands-on experience in designing and implementing networks at scale, such as automated deployments (e.g., ZTP). Great communication and presentation skills. 5+ years of experience in network, especially experience in Arista switches BS Degree or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, and work experience Ways To Stand Out From The Crowd: You have architected, built, and deployed a network for a large scale (1000s of machines) in the past, used by 1000s of people. Familiar with designing, building, and maintaining within CSP environments, POPs, and large scale WANs. Passionate about innovating and investing in ground breaking technologies.
