We are looking for an Offshore Senior Network Engineer to ensure critical services are delivered to the required standards.

This is a strategic role requiring good knowledge and skills in DC, Branch routing and switching on Cisco, Juniper and 3Com (WAN & LAN / Wireless), firewall and load balancer. CCNP (Cisco Certificated Network Professional) certification and CCSA (Checkpoint Certificated Security Administrator) certification or other security certifications are preferred.

Main responsibilities

Network support:

• Identifies and resolves network problems following agreed procedures.
• Uses network management software and tools to collect agreed performance statistics.
• Carries out agreed network maintenance tasks.
• Provides network maintenance and support services to both the users of the systems and to service delivery functions.
• Investigates, resolves problems and provides information about the systems.
• Monitors performance
• Provides advice or training to users about the network\'s functionality, correct operation or constraints

The Network Engineer will generally be:

• Monitoring
• Incident handling
• Troubleshooting
• Security access management
• Documentation update
• Installation, move, add, change (IMAC)
• Perform scheduled tasks
• Project support
• Root cause investigations
• Reporting
• Pre-Sales technical and bidding support

Desired knowledge and skills:

• Excellent communication and customer service skills and the ability and desire to work in a collaborative team environment
• 3-5 years\' solid experience as network in MNC infrastructure equipment and public sector infrastructure.
• Cisco - ASA540, NAT, ACL
• Cisco - CCT Collaboration, Datacentre, Routing & Switching
• Cisco - CCNA, CCNP, and CCIE qualifications
• Windows NPS and DHCP
• Junos - EX switches, SSG and SRX firewalls, EX 802.1x, MAC-RADIUS, DHCP relay, virtual-router, route leaking, MIP, FW policies, NAT, FW policies
• Hands on experience in supporting complex data center and network problems
• Experience diagnosing network problems and maintaining network security.
• Experience developing and training technical team
• Human competencies: teamwork and multi cultural awareness
• Leadership skills: initiative, effective communication, ability to manage workload and meet deadlines, execution of instance and schedule change, process Competence

Education-Certifications:

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Communications Engineering, Computer Science, Information System or related discipline.
• CCNP (Cisco Certificated Network Professional)
• CCSA (Checkpoint Certificated Security Administrator)
• Other security certifications are preferred.
