Sales of enterprise services to Clients across verticals in South 1 Working at NTT Translate organisational strategy They work with business and Service Leaders in the formulation of business strategy, and execution of strategic objectives into a local or country and co-ordinated business development strategy. He/she is a key role-player in the Enterprise Services sales cycle as he or she is responsible for generating new business for Dimension Data by developing market penetration strategies, gathering intelligence on potential clients, defining optimal business models and contributing to the design of go-to-market campaigns and the development of sales strategies. Qualify opportunity The ES Business Development Manager uses a deep understanding of Dimension Data solutions and of technology trends to evaluate and define key target markets. They advise on the research of target market requirements, by establishing the key business drivers, determining the barriers to entry and identifying the key competitors. They advise on the compilation target market penetration strategies and estimate the size of the opportunity in the short, medium and long term. Their market analysis and client research becomes the basis for the opportunity qualification. These tools are employed to support transformation by the ES Business Development Manager. Lead generation They identify potential clients in the target markets and gather intelligence on these clients to determine the best holistic strategies to approach and to convince them of the Dimension Data value proposition. In selected potential clients, they will research their current business divers, their business strategic objectives, internal investment areas and key stakeholders to inform the client account strategies. They therefore act as \xe2\x80\x9chunters\xe2\x80\x9d and generate leads for the client management team. They accurately prepare sales forecasts with the sales leadership and client managers. Ensure business models They define the most suited business models to be used for different target market areas by identifying the most suitable value propositions, preferred partner configurations, cost structures and revenue models. In this regard they will partner with colleagues in the finance functions to determine optimum pricing models. Through their business development activities, they advise on a consistent go-to-market approach. Go-to-market campaigns The ES Business Development Manager establishes and maintains strategic relationships with internal stakeholders, vendors and clients. They will partner with members of the marketing team to advise on the design of go-to-market campaigns that will be used to target the potential markets and clients. They also use the information gathered on target markets, potential clients, and most favourable business models and partner with the sales management and client management teams to advise on determining of the most effective strategies to penetrate markets effectively. They execute the plan for identified strategic programs, supporting management in achieving objectives. This individual will own, lead and drive all Enterprise Services Sales locally and in country, in conjunction with in country Leadership. Ensure sales teams are trained The ES Business Development Manager ensures that the sales teams are aware of the value propositions for target markets and that they are trained on the detail of the Dimension Data solutions. Produce reports and analytics The activities of the ES Business Development Manager are reflected in various reports and analytics that provide the organisation with planning information and data on pipeline, closed business for specific market areas and an analysis of the success of market penetration strategies. Behavioural skills To enable their team to achieve their objectives, the ES Business Development Manager acts as mentor/coach for team members. They do this by customising their approach, planning for their coaching interactions and communicating expectations. They generally act as an advisor that assists the team to set and keep priority activities. ES Business Development Managers are assertive in their approach and display excellent persuasion and influence ability. They use their expert negotiation skills and deep knowledge of the business and solutions to ensure new business development. They possess excellent communication skills (both verbally and written) and employ these skills to interact with a variety of stakeholders. They maintain integrity, display reliability and recognise their direct reports, whilst building a cohesive team.
