The Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) team can provide you the opportunity to build and operate a suite of massive scale, integrated cloud services in a broadly distributed, multi-tenant cloud environment. The OCI Data Science organization is focused on delivering a strong platform for Data Scientist / ML Engineers to build / operate / store / deploy / monitor enterprise grade Machine Learning Models, and also enabling them to manage their ML model lifecycle management. It keeps up with the constantly evolving Generative AI landscape, envisages by developing novel solutions and products to support industry standard Large Language Models in OCI. Within that organization, the OCI Data Science Model Store / Model Deploy team is chartered with new feature development and deployment / scale the existing capabilities / optimize the resource utilization / facilitate a strong single source of truth and model life cycle management in Model Store and Model Deploy service . Regarding Model Deploy service, enhance the capabilities to support Large Language Models / Model Monitoring / Multi Model Deployments / BYOC support We are looking for a Senior Member of Technical Staff to burn down development backlog and roadmap items within the OCI Data Science. The scope of the OCI Data Science team includes both engineering and ML/AI research. As a Senior Member of Technical Staff you will be responsive for driving technical cadence and implementation strategy. You should be comfortable interacting and working together with data scientists and researchers in building the next generation model deployment solutions for OCI. You should be experienced in building complex distributed systems that interact with a variety of services. You should enjoy building effective collaboration with Architects, Product Managers and code review and mentoring engineers. Our vision is to provide an immersive AI experience on Oracle Cloud. Are you ready to do something big Qualifications 4 to 6 years in building and designing enterprise and consumer grade applications You have prior experience working on distributed systems in the Cloud world with full stack experience. Build and Delivery of a high-quality cloud service with the capabilities, scalability, and performance needed to match the needs of enterprise teams You feel at home communicating technical designs verbally and in writing (technical implementation, design specs, and presentations) You are ideally proficient in Java, J2EE & server-side programming. Proficiency in Go, Python is preferred. You have experience with Cloud Computing, System Design, and Object-Oriented Design preferably, production experience with Cloud and ML technologies Experience building microservices and RESTful services and deep understanding of building cloud-based services (MT architecture, Autoscaling, Autonomous driven system, monitoring on the fly, run long running high compute process) Experienced at building highly available services, possessing knowledge of common service-oriented design patterns and service-to-service communication protocols You are familiar with components of modern infrastructure like service discovery, secret storage, software-defined networking, etc. Strong knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes to build and deploy using Terraform, Ansible Have strong knowledge on front end services - React JS, Typescript , Javascript , Angular JS and related UI technologies Bachelor / Master\'s degree in Computer Science, Computer related technical discipline Preferred Qualifications Experience in working with Machine Learning/AI research teams Experience in building ML pipelines and workflows Knowledge of ML/AI fundamentals
