Nutanix, a leader in enterprise cloud, is looking to hire a Software Engineer for Nutanix Hybrid cloud products. Nutanix welcomes big thinkers, those who are unafraid to take on seemingly impossible challenges.

Nutanix is developing best of breed microservice platform with Kubernetes and many CNCF open source projects that will be instrumental in building the data centers of the future. Nutanix being very good in Software Defined Storage, we naturally wanted to extend and provide the best storage solution for containers. We don't stop there and want to continue our journey in cloud native space where possibilities are immense as this eco-system evolves in field of networking, logging, monitoring, ease of deployment and management.Nutanix is hiring developers to build enterprise-grade products around Docker and Kubernetes. You'll join us in designing and developing the Kubernetes based platform with a focus on scale, performance, security, and availability.Responsibilities:

• Work directly on Kubernetes, Docker, and several other open source projects.
• Work on cutting-edge features of Kubernetes like Ingress, Stateful Sets etc.
• Design and develop microservices platform for cloud native workloads

Requirements:

• Containers, Microservice architecture
• Strong knowledge of Distributed Systems
• Networking, Storage
• GoLang or Python
• Linux and Bash scripting
• Good software development practices: should thrive in an environment of rapid development, peer code reviews, and write good functional/unit tests

Nice to have:

• Network Services - Load-Balancers, Security, QOS, etc.
• Experience building Distributed systems
• Experience in Docker Containers
• Experience in AWS, Google and Azure Cloud ecosystems

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's and Master's (preferred) in Computer Science
• Exp of 6+ years overall
