EXPERIENCE Duties you\'ll be entrusted with: Business Development: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our customer base for recycled materials. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers. Sales and Revenue Generation: Exceed sales targets by effectively promoting and selling our recycled materials. Develop innovative sales strategies, negotiate contracts, and close deals to maximize revenue. Continuously explore cross-selling and upselling opportunities to existing customers. Market Analysis: Stay updated on market trends, pricing fluctuations, and the competitive landscape related to recycled metals. Conduct comprehensive market research to identify new market segments, customer needs, and emerging opportunities. Sales Reporting and Analysis: Maintain precise sales records, including customer interactions, sales activities, and revenue forecasts. Generate detailed sales reports and provide regular updates to the management team. Innovation: Collaborate closely with the technical team to develop new products in response to customer demand. Expectations from you: Basic Requirements MBA with an engineering background. A degree in metallurgy or materials science is a plus. Proven experience in sales, preferably in the metal recycling industry or related sectors such as metal trading/sales. Possess an existing network of customers within the metals industry. Strong knowledge of metals, including their properties, applications, and market dynamics. Familiarity with metal pricing mechanisms and global metal markets is advantageous. Skills Excellent communication and negotiation skills to effectively engage with customers, understand their needs and present compelling sales proposals. Strong analytical skills to assess market trends, identify opportunities, and develop sales strategies accordingly. A self-motivated and proactive approach to identifying and pursuing business opportunities. Willingness to travel as needed to meet with customers and attend industry events.
