To provide strategic leadership and drive business growth for the spinning and textile group by developing and executing integrated marketing and sales strategies across
yarn, woven fabrics, knitted fabrics, and grey & dyed knitted and woven fabrics
. The role focuses on strengthening domestic and international market presence, building long-term customer partnerships, and positioning the organization as a preferred supplier in the global textile value chain.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Marketing & Business Leadership
Define and execute long-term marketing and growth strategies for
yarn and fabric businesses
aligned with organizational objectives.
Lead expansion plans for domestic and export markets by identifying high-growth regions, customer segments, and application areas.
Drive business through strategic pricing models, margin optimization, and value-based selling.
Develop brand positioning and market differentiation for commodity and value-added products.
2. Customer Strategy & Key Account Management
Build and manage relationships with
key domestic and international customers
including brands, buying houses, large mills, garment manufacturers, and global sourcing teams.
Lead key account strategy, contract negotiations, and long-term supply agreements.
Represent the organization in high-level customer meetings, industry forums, and trade fairs.
Mentor and guide the sales and marketing teams to enhance capability and performance.

Work closely with product development, R&D, and design teams to launch innovative and value-added products.
Lead the promotion of sustainable and specialty products such as
TENCEL
, Modal, Viscose, Organic Cotton, Recycled Polyester, and functional fabric finishes.
Align product offerings with global trends in performance textiles and sustainability.
4. Market Intelligence & Business Planning
Monitor global and domestic market trends in yarns and fabrics including
counts, blends, constructions, finishes, and performance attributes
.
Oversee competitor benchmarking, pricing intelligence, and demand forecasting.
Lead preparation of business plans, annual budgets, sales forecasts, and management reports.
Identify new business opportunities in emerging fibres, technical textiles, and value-added fabric segments.
5. Cross-Functional Leadership & Execution
Act as the strategic link between
marketing, production, sourcing, quality, processing, and logistics teams
.
Ensure customer requirements are translated into actionable production and delivery plans.
Drive continuous improvement in customer service, delivery performance, and quality standards.
Support operational excellence and supply chain optimization initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
Education:
B.Tech / M.Tech in Textile Technology.
Experience:
Minimum 15 - 20 Years.
Proven experience in handling
domestic and international markets
across yarns, woven fabrics, knitted fabrics, and processed fabrics.
Core Skills & Competencies
Deep technical expertise in
spinning, weaving, knitting, dyeing, and finishing processes
.
Strong strategic thinking, leadership, and team development skills.
Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and presentation abilities.
