Description:
Extensive work experience in the field of Environment and Sustainability Services including but not limited to; Environment & Social Governance, Corporate Sustainability Reporting, Assessment (Preparation of Sustainability Reports, Technical Support, Assurance Audit for Sustainability Reporting) as per GRI (Global Reporting Initiative) Responsibilities

• Ensure program implementation for the Peanut-Life sustainability initiative - including community development, livelihood opportunities, child education, health awareness, women empowerment, and environment protection.
• Implement a monitoring and evaluation system for the Peanut-Life program in partnership with external and independent verification agencies such as identifying and tie up\xe2\x80\x99s with NGOs, FPO, and SHGs
• Oversee plantation management to ensure compliance with annual budgets, cost and compliance review, and to achieve critical metrics on crop yields, production cost/ton, CAPEX, etc. by identifying and selecting potential areas.
• Study the industry and Indian landscape, industry trends, regulatory aspects, and macro developments specific to the sector to identify ways to improve the sustainability practices of the Company
• Positioning the Company as a thought leader - Impactful disclosures aligned with the latest standards and strong representation of sustainability initiatives
• Build corpus fund - Plan along with NGO - for FPO\xe2\x80\x99s activities
• Generate support for seeds, and farm inputs for farmers through FPO and accounting during cargo purchase.
• Initiative programs to develop Seeds through FPOs
• Identify incentive schemes for premium quality cargo-producing farmers
• Slowly build our long-term relationship in the sense of leadership & guide FPO
• Identify potential NGOs and FPOs \xe2\x80\x93 explore government subsidies (NABARD, Agri marketing infrastructure fund, etc.)for setting up small-scale warehousing & shelling units, equipment - in the name of SHG\xe2\x80\x99s, contribute along with government funds ( Meet SDG\xe2\x80\x99s Goals ) \xe2\x80\x93FPO/Government\xe2\x80\x99s Bodies/ NGO/AIPL -Model Example like PPP ( Private-public partnership )
• Explore options to avail low-interest loans to farmers\' groups through World banks or NABARD etc
• Gap analysis and creating a roadmap for ESG and sustainability.

Stakeholder Management:

• To help businesses in the operationalization of sustainability strategies, as appropriate; To support companies and corporate management in terms of specific information requirements and analysis

Knowledge Sharing:

• Learning sessions along with consultants to create a knowledge databank on sustainability within the Company
• Work with ESG rating agencies across the globe - communicating Company\'s ESG vision, and information and therefore work towards improvement in a rating scale

Investor Relations:

• Manage the Investor Relations function by preparing Information Memorandum, Investor Presentations, etc.
• Co-ordinate and handle all sell-side firms\' queries and report back to the management investor/ analyst views, grievances, or any other suggestions.
• Work on all investor Relations related projects including revamping and management of the Investor Relations function; Shareholder tracking dashboard etc.

Risk Management:

• Responsible for preparation and identification of key risks, their mitigation plans, and impact, and finally presented to the Directors/Finance head/ key decision-makers
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and think at the strategic/ corporate level for all mitigation possibilities

Traits Required:

• Crop science mastery
• Significant experience in agriculture, procurement, peanut plantation management
• Exposure to community programs
• Experience in a corporate business in operations, general management, procurement, or manufacturing
• Hands-on knowledge of external communication, including media and government agencies
• Some experience working with NGOs

Qualifications 1. Ph.D./MSc. Env. /Agri any other Agri relevant field.
2. Minimum 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience working in the field of Environment, Sustainability, Health & Safety.
3. Certifications: GRI (Global Reporting Initiative) framework; GHG (Green House Gas) Protocol
4. Professional certification preferred. Job Type: Full-time Schedule:
