Site Name: Bengaluru Luxor North Tower Posted Date: Jun 26 2023 As our Senior Manager - Solution Delivery, you will lead a team of engineers who are experienced in several different technologies, tools and services. In this exciting role, you will collaborate with Solution Architects in Enterprise Hosting Services (EHS) as well as Product Owners to plan and build products and services/solutions required to support GSK Business Unit\'s and drive your team to deliver. This role requires demonstrated experience and familiarity with some of the following key engineering competencies: Infrastructure as Code, front-end development (Vue.js and/or React), Cloud Security Posture Management, DevOps, Web Hosting/Serverless and agile software lifecycle management. Key Responsibilities Work with EHS Solution Architects and Product Owners to understand priorities, requirements and deliver to their expectations. Proactively communicate and collaborate with the Solution Architects and Product Owners. Lead an engineering team with diverse skills that span multiple technologies. Provide technical thought leadership, innovation and strategic thinking, people management and people development. Partnering with Solution Architects and Product Owners to plan product development strategy and roadmaps / solutions in agile release trains. Introduce industry relevant best practices & act as trusted advisor to the Solution Architects regarding improvement opportunities and new technologies. Understanding of the declarative capabilities of one or more cloud infrastructure providers (GCP, Azure) and how the engineering competencies you manage fit in and be able to build solutions based on these capabilities. Why You! Basic Qualifications: We are looking for individuals with these required skills to achieve our goals: Solid experience of leading an offshore team Tech/IT Experience with Azure and GCP. Experience or familiarity with On-Prem Infrastructure, DevOps, Containers/Microservices, Serverless, Web Hosting, Infrastructure as Code (Ansible/AWX and Terraform). Experience with modern software engineering practices and cloud centric infrastructure. Strong leadership skills and demonstrable ability to communicate and collaborate with different audiences representing various technical disciplines across multiple job levels to achieve results. Experienced in leading and building robust teams. Validated management experience of matrixed multi-functional teams located globally. Self-starter with a sense of urgency and demonstrable ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driven environment. Have a passion for \'customer experience\'. Experienced in Agile delivery methodologies. Experienced in DevOps/SRE operational model. Bachelors (BA/BS) degree, Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or related subject area or equivalent technical qualification with relevant experience. Preferred Qualifications: If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus: Pharmaceutical Industry experience Azure and GCP certified Passion and genuine interest in technology that can drive business value.
