Job Description


Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Active sourcing to map completion and new trends for all commodities. Actively updating self on the socio political/ economic/legal trends and using them for the sourcing decisions. Carrying out negotiations with suppliers for own commodity and facilitating own team. Empanelling vendors as per the platform targets. Supporting Supplier Business Capability Building initiative for own commodity. Anticipate business risk associated with own commodities and relevant industries and propose mitigation plan. Actively collaborating with multiple stakeholdersRandD aggregate Heads, SSU Leadership, Accounts, Business Excellence, Plant Heads, Spares Sourcing Head, Strategic Vendors, Government Agencies to resolve/anticipate issues and ensure smooth operations. Participating in various sourcing forums to project business indicators, concerns, highlights of performance and give inputs to stakeholders /decision making. Being a role model for Ethics and Integrity as well as demonstration of Sourcing behaviours
