Scope of Position Reporting to the Head of Order Management, this role is responsible for providing key support to the OM & MD Team with a range of responsibilities which ensure the management and oversight of the Strategic and Operational risks and controls of the function. Risk & Control Framework Compliance: Ensuring consistent and effective implementation and performance of the Risk related policies and frameworks within the COO. Operational Risk: Working with the COO Risk Champions to ensure the capture of all COO material risks whether self-Identified, from second-line (risk or compliance), third-line (internal audit) or external (auditors or regulators). This would also include focus on Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery related risks and their management for OM & MD. Control Assurance : Working with the COO Risk Champions to ensure the execution of the IT Control Framework test plan (once written). Control Improvement : Responsible for coordinating a continuous improvement action plan for the COO controls environment. Internal Audit: Ensuring the consistent and effective response to Internal Audits from audit planning through to resolution and closure of audit action items. Compliance: Ensuring the consistent and effective response to Compliance requirements e.g. annual attestation, mandatory training, SOX & Other financial compliance related aspects, etc. International Office Governance (IOG): Process coordinator, liaises with regions and IOG Governance Body. Experience/Skills Requirements . Broad exposure/experience to audit, risk management, operations, finance and compliance activities is preferred. . Knowledge and experience with the Quote to Cash process would be a positive. . Strong understanding of financial data and trading businesses, products or processes. . Experience developing and maintaining effective working relationships with senior management and external regulators. . Excellent project management, organizational and presentation skills. . Excellent communication (verbal, written, and listening) and interpersonal skills, including strong writing skills, particularly as related to audit reports and management presentations. . Excellent & proven stakeholder management skills . Good understanding of current regulatory and industry events . CFA, CPA/CA, CRM or similar professional certification is a plus. .
