Position Overview

This leadership position is responsible for establishing and managing centralized procurement operations with a global deliver model. This position will lead global teams with scope of responsibility including master data management, strategic sourcing support, contract management, catalog management, order management and procurement systems support.

This position reporting to the Senior Director of Procurement Systems & Analytics will support the transformation of Procurement to a centralized data driven function with connected processes, efficient operations, effective governance, and trusted data.

Key Duties:

• Establish a procurement operations function with global delivery consolidating existing practices and build teams with right talent
• Support development and maintenance of the governance model including policies, processes, and data for efficiently and effectively managing 3rd party spend globally
• Support development of in-scope processes and operationalize them
• Support development and execution of systems strategy and roadmap for connecting and enabling the end-to-end processes within Procurement and external to Procurement
• Identify risks associated with spend not under contract and mitigate them in collaboration with the category teams
• Manage catalogs for indirect goods and services in collaboration with the category teams
• Develop KPIs to measure efficiency and effectiveness in collaboration with the Data & Analytics team
• Continuous improvement of in-scope processes and systems
• Drive process consistency (automation) and advanced analytics within the organization through Systems & Master Data deployment
• Manages the daily activities of direct reports and ensures continuous improvement and development of the team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s Degree; MBA desirable
• Minimum 10 years\xe2\x80\x99 relevant business and people management experience in Procurement or Supply Chain discipline.
• High level technical aptitude. Engineering, Electronic or other Technical training.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as interpersonal, analytical and presentation skills.

• Strong project management skills to drive projects to closure.
• Knowledge of root cause analysis, problem solving, continuous improvement, corrective and preventative action.
• Travel of 25-40% including global travel.

Preferred:

• Experience in a regulated and highly technical environment preferred, such as experience in the Automotive, Aerospace, OEM, and/or Medical Device industries.
