Job Description


Role Responsibilities Strategy Be part of a team of platform engineers and DevOps engineers to design, build, and operate the various computing platforms including container platform, AI/ML model development, deployment & monitoring platform, and graph database engine for FCSO Technology Team. Contributes towards technology stack selection and architecture style. Implements Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) pipelines. Business Participate in user journeys discovery and assist in deriving domain-driven solution. Engage with Technical Application Team to provide architecture design and provide guidance on implementation. Engage with enterprise and information and software architects to confirm solutions are consistent with the long-term architecture, roadmap, and information principles where necessary. Processes Strong experience in agile methodologies and test-driven development. Experience in software development using open-source technologies. Experience in automated software testing. Knowledge in domain-driven design, design patterns and enterprise integration patterns. People and Talent Must be able to code in Java (SpingBoot and Spring Cloud Services). Experience in some of the technologies below: Language: Java, SQL, JavaScript, Groovy, Python PaaS: Openshift, AWS, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes Data: MySQL, Postgres, Oracle, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Hadoop, Spark, HIVE, Tableau Cache: Redis, Memcached Middleware: Kafka, RabbitMQ, API: REST API, GraphQL UI: HTML5, ReactJS, Bootstrap, CSS, RxJS. Strong knowledge in CI/CD toolset such as Ansible, Artifactory, Jenkins, BitBucket, SonarQube, Fortify, Flyway, Jira and Confluence. Strong knowledge in automated testing toolset such as jUnit, Mockito, cucumber, Selenium etc. Strong knowledge in scripting languages such as Groovy and Linux shell. Knowledge in Integrated Development Environment (IDE) such as Eclipse and IntelliJ Risk Management The ability to interpret the Group\'s financial information, identify key issues based on this information and put in place appropriate controls and measures Help Tribe lead to be risk control owner under the Group\'s Risk Management Framework (including relevant Operational Risk Framework) Governance Responsible for assessing the effectiveness of the Group\'s arrangements to deliver effective governance, oversight and controls in the business and, if necessary, oversee changes in these areas Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework, in which the Group operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role. Regulatory & Business Conduct Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group\'s Values and Code of Conduct. Our Ideal Candidate Qualifications Experience A Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience) 5+ years of software engineering experience. Must be hands-on software design & development and DevOps. Experience with enterprise scale systems. Non-technical Skills Proven ability to work within a team environment. Highly effective verbal and written English communication skills. Ability to make good / sound decisions and use independent judgement. Strong reasoning, analytical and inter-personal skills. Excellent attention to detail and time management. Good presentation skills. Role Specific Competencies Familiarity with container platform, graph engine, AI/ML platforms. Strong understanding and experience in working with DevOps Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and frameworks Familiarity with microservices architecture Familiarity with graph analytics Fluency in verbal and written communication Exposure to Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Big Data Analytics, Business Intelligence tools Familiarity with container platform, graph engine, AI/ML platforms.
