Job Title: Senior Manager, Physical Security Location: Bangalore, India : This role will encompass responsibility for managing physical security operations across South Region, including Bangalore, Vizag, Hyderabad and Chennai. Responsibilities: Security Strategy : Develop and implement comprehensive physical security strategies to safeguard our facilities, assets, and employees. Effectively manage security operations which includes but not limited to; alarm monitoring, threat assessment and response, effective dispatching & communications, emergency response, security systems troubleshooting, incident management, notification & escalation for corporate-wide major events, and regular reporting on metrics and performance to Operations Management. Manage industrial security systems and processes, to protect personnel, electronic, and physical property . Conceptualize security system designs for the latest upgrades for existing facilities and oversee vendors during installation and implementation of services. Regional Oversight : Oversee and coordinate day-to-day security operations in Bangalore, Vizag, Hyderabad and Chennai, ensuring consistent implementation of security protocols Risk Assessment: Conduct periodic risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend proactive security measures for each location. Emergency Response: Develop and maintain robust emergency response plans for each site, ensuring the organization\'s readiness to handle crises. Investigations : Conduct & support investigations at site or region level Team Management: Lead and mentor a security team, ensuring proper trainings are provided on Safety, Security, and Operational Risk at regular intervals. Compliance: Ensure adherence to all local, national, and industry-specific security regulations and standards. Vendor Management: Manage relationships with security service providers and vendors across the South region. Liaison: Act as a liaison with local law enforcement agencies and emergency services in the event of security incidents. Qualifications : Strong experience in managing end-to-end Physical Security Operations for large MNCs, preferably in BPO/ITES domain. A background in the Armed Forces will be nice to have, with experience in security and risk management. (Optional Skill / Not Mandatory) Fluency in local south languages will be good to have as it will help in effectively communicating with local authorities. Must be able to manage 24X7 security operations effectively. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Knowledge of security technologies and best practices.
