Key ResponsibilitiesMICE Operations (Domestic & International)



Lead

complete MICE operations

for domestic and international events, conferences, incentives, exhibitions, and corporate group movements. Manage

international destinations

, including visas, flights, hotel contracting, ground handling, local suppliers, and destination management companies (DMCs). Handle

international and domestic travel logistics

, group ticketing, charters (if applicable), transfers, and special arrangements. Prepare

detailed operational plans, timelines, checklists, rooming lists, flight manifests, and itineraries

.

Client & Stakeholder Management



Act as the

primary operations SPOC

for key corporate clients. Collaborate closely with

Sales, Finance, Accounts, and Leadership teams

. Participate in

client meetings, pre-event briefings, site inspections, and recce visits

. Manage expectations and deliver high client satisfaction through seamless execution.

Vendor & Destination Management



Source, negotiate, and manage

hotels, venues, airlines, transporters, AV partners, production vendors, and event agencies

. Handle

international vendor coordination

and compliance with destination-specific norms. Finalize

contracts, SLAs, and commercial terms

with vendors and suppliers.

Budgeting, Costing & Compliance



Prepare

detailed cost sheets, budgets, and quotations

for MICE programs. Ensure

cost control, billing accuracy, margin protection, and financial closures

. Coordinate with Accounts for

invoicing, reconciliations, and vendor payments

. Ensure compliance with

company SOPs, client agreements, and legal requirements

.

On-Ground Event Execution



Lead

on-site execution

of domestic and international events. Oversee

guest arrivals, registrations, event flow, logistics, hospitality, and crisis handling

. Manage

last-minute changes, escalations, and emergency situations

with minimal client impact. Ensure

quality control, safety standards, and service excellence

throughout the event lifecycle.

Team Leadership & Process Management



Lead, mentor, and manage the

MICE operations team

. Allocate work, monitor performance, and ensure timely delivery. Develop and improve

standard operating procedures (SOPs)

and best practices. Conduct

post-event debriefs, reporting, and process improvements

.

Required Skills & Competencies



Extensive knowledge of

Domestic & International MICE Operations

Strong

destination management & DMC coordination

Advanced

budgeting, costing, and negotiation skills

Excellent

client-facing and stakeholder management abilities

Strong leadership, decision-making, and crisis-management skills Ability to manage

high-value, large-scale events

Willingness to travel extensively for

domestic & international assignments


Qualifications & Experience



Graduate / Postgraduate in

Travel, Tourism, Hospitality, or Event Management

7-12+ years

of experience in

MICE Operations

, with proven

international exposure

Hands-on experience handling

large corporate conferences, incentives, and exhibitions

Prior experience managing

teams and senior clients

is mandatory
