The Role Responsibilities

Strategy and Consulting

  • Builds effective working relationships with leaders, understanding their business drivers and individual needs to create significant business value.
  • Understanding the needs of business and support function stakeholders in designing, building and delivering Reporting and Analytics products that meet these requirements.
  • Support projects and initiatives by building compelling use cases and requirements for change.
  • Experience in data analytics and metrics optimization.
Business
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and translate business data into digestible information and insights that facilitate conversations to drive improvements.
  • Maintain the integrity of the MI Process with detailed review and data cleansing to ensure all data and reports are accurate, current, complete and consistent.
  • Interpret data, analyse results using statistical techniques and provide data for ongoing dashboards / reports.
  • Deliver analytics and reporting that support the needs of the Metrics and Measures clients.
Processes
  • Support stakeholder requirements with quality analysis and data to improve efficiency across TTO.
  • Produce insights on business functions and key operations and performance metrics.
  • Produce and deliver Executive management packs to agreed timelines / schedules.
  • Manages expectations of both standard, Adhoc and project related activities.

  • Develop a regular communication framework with the clients.
  • Excellent Interpersonal Skills - Influencing, Collaborating, Networking, able to work effectively in virtual international and cross functional teams.
  • Good at Clarifying or explaining complicated concepts, structured thinking, quick at Problem solving.

  • Demonstrate Stakeholder management and Perseverance to trouble-shoot and achieve goals.
Risk Management
  • Ensure completeness, accuracy and timeliness in all work / support provided to stakeholders
  • Escalate or engage appropriate stakeholders to ensure timely remedial actions and escalation of situations that pose risk
Regulatory and Business Conduct
  • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group\xe2\x80\x99s Values and Code of Conduct.
  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

  • TTO Management Team, Heads of Functions
Our Ideal Candidate
  • Graduate or Post Grad in Commerce, Management, Mathematics or Statistics.
  • 9 - 10 years of experience in consulting, reporting, data analysis, project / client management and senior exec engagement.
  • Knowledge of Data engineering and BI tools - Experience in Tableau will be added value.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Presentation making.
Role Specific Technical Competencies
  • Interpret data, analyse results using statistical techniques and provide data for ongoing dashboards / reports.
  • Good communication skill and Mathematical and Statistical analysis, ability to interpret and collate relevant data.
  • Ability to document complex business processes and handle all types of customer requests.
  • Maintain the integrity of the MI Process with detailed review and data cleansing to ensure all data and reports are accurate, current, complete and consistent.
  • Establish data standards in terms of nomenclature, persistence technology selection, design and deployments.
  • Exposure to Financial data analysis and specifically areas like unit costing.
  • Familiarity with data visualization and data oriented.
