Position Summary with Job Responsibilities Role/Designation Virtual Testing Engineer / Sr Manager Location Pune Business Unit CVBU ERC Function ERC Sub Function Indoor Testing Grade L5 Reporting to Deputy General Manager Indoor Testing Position Summary : Senior Manager Indoor Testing, to be part of virtual testing group having strong knowledge in the areas of 1D simulations and HiL simulations of Automotive systems for evaluating performance and generate test specifications at sub-system and vehicle level. Job Specifications Education Qualifications M. Tech. in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Electrical engineering Work Experience 2+ years of experience Preferred Industry Automobile/Automotive/Engineering Services Education Work Experience Job Responsibilities Develop system/ Sub-system/ Component level Mechanical / Electrical systems models (mathematical / 1D Simulation) using MATLAB & Simulink/ AMESim or any other Simulation Software Analyze & optimize test specifications through mathematical models. Develop test automation programs in NI LabVIEW / VeriStand environment for Hardware in the Loop simulations. Deliver deeper understanding through system modeling and simulations for robust test specifications development while meeting all performance requirements. Work independently, communicates expectations, plans and requirements also coordinates all work within the scope of assigned projects. Provide technical details and engineering recommendations for improvement of model development and associated processes. Perform modeling and simulation tasks associated with projects independently and collaborates effectively with cross-functional departments to meet all the deliverables. Ensure on time delivery and quality performance results in all the deliverables. Develop novel solutions/concepts to strengthen and drive innovation (IPR/Capability& Competency) Strong analytical skills, strong verbal & written communication skills and proven team player. Regularly communicates project updates effectively to all internal/ external stakeholders.
